Transcend usb flash recovery8/26/2023 no data but a working drive! Outstanding, very professional company. When I picked up the drives they also indicated they were able to repair the USB drive. They arranged a remote preview of the repair from my home before copying their working image to my new drive. I gave them the go-ahead on the Level 1 repair at 5 pm on Friday and they promised to have the drive ready at 10 am Monday morning. They would take a look at the USB drive to see what could be done. The second drive had multiple issues and would be considerably more expensive to repair. He indicated that one of the drives could be repaired with a very high percentage of recovery for minimal cost (Level 1 Repair). I left the drives with them and he called me promptly within 3 hours after techs had examined the drives in-depth. Tim (tech rep) took me to his office and we discussed each of the 3 drives in detail and the possibilities and cost of repairs. then the USB backup drive with Acronis backups also went bad. Magnext Data Recovery is an outstanding company! The C and D drives on my son's PC both went bad at the same time. However, I no longer trust them and will not be using their service again. I will say the people who worked there were always nice to me and the pricing was affordable. (Mind you - Magnext had never once mentioned a broken disc.). Unfortunately for me, this is costing me now a LOT more money to fix, and there is a possibility it won't be recovered at all due to the disc being broken. Therefore, the only way for the disc to have been broken was by the person who opened it. I had never taken a part my hard drive or dropped it. When I called Magnext to let them know I would be there shortly to pick up my hard drive, they seemed a little flustered and told me they "would get it ready for me." Once the hard drive was diagnosed by the other company, they called me to tell me the disc inside of the hard drive had been broken and my hard drive was extremely poorly & loosely put back together. I finally found a company in California who could fix it. They kept my hard drive for a year pulling me along telling me that it'd be able to get fixed one day. Oh I know it took some doing and some research but the point is, they took the time, didn't give up, and recovered all of my data (which included a major project for a current client on deadline - I might add) and also my daughters wedding of 1/14/23.Thanks for Magnext and the whole team, for taking the time, and the adventure, and not giving up and helping me recover, and use again, in a more safe way, my data!I guess, I could have made this shorter and said, "MAGNEXT Saved the Day". And BOY were they right.Magnext diligently worked and worked, and worked and was able to recover my data. They said that "Magnext is the place to go to recover your lost data". Not just ANY power strip - oh no, that would be to easy, this power strip had my computer (now fried), monitor (now fried) and two External Hard Drives (now fried) with all my data from the last 6 years.I was referred to Magnext by my Computer Repair facility also in Columbus that I have faithfully used for 26 years in business, so I fully trust their recommendations. All I did - All I did, was simply pick it out from under my chair and throw it to the side - BIG MISTAKE! It landed not just on the floor, oh no, that would be easy, it landed right into an open outlet on the power strip next to my desk. Unfortunately, before I could sit down my IPhone charging cord was stuck under one of the wheels of my desk chair. Drive to my office, go into my office, sit down at my desk and start working.
